1. Federal Solar Investment Tax Credit (ITC)  installation costs. This credit is available through 2032, with a reduction to 26% in 2033 and 22% in 2034. While the ITC is a non-refundable credit, any unused portion can roll over to future tax years, allowing you to maximize your savings over time.

2. New Jersey Successor Solar Incentive Program (SuSI)

The SuSI program rewards you for every megawatt-hour (MWh) of energy your solar panels generate with Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (SREC-IIs). At $85 per MWh, homeowners can earn significant additional income over 15 years. For instance, a solar system producing 8,000 kilowatt-hours (kWh) annually could generate approximately $680 per year in rewards.

3. Sales Tax Exemption

Purchasing solar energy equipment through ECO Sun Solutions means you won’t pay New Jersey’s 6.625% sales tax. This exemption applies to all eligible solar equipment, including complete home solar systems, solar water heaters, and solar pool heaters, saving you money upfront.

4. Property Tax Exemption

Solar energy systems add value to your home, but in New Jersey, this added value is exempt from property taxes. That means you’ll enjoy the benefits of increased home value without paying extra property taxes.

5. Net Metering

New Jersey’s net metering policy allows you to earn credits on your utility bill for excess electricity your solar panels produce. These credits can reduce or even eliminate future energy bills. At the end of the billing cycle, any remaining credits are compensated at the utility’s avoided-cost rate, ensuring you get full value from your solar system.
